The new Promaster Mechanical Diver is a classic from the 1970s, deeply rooted in Citizen's diving heritage, but equipped with modern features for use at sea or in the office. The retro design is based on the Citizen Challenge Diver, which was found covered in barnacles on an Australian beach after years of submerged in the ocean—but still functioning. This story inspired our new Promaster Mechanical Diver, giving it the affectionate nickname Fujitsubo—Japanese for barnacle. The lightweight and scratch-resistant Super Titanium™ case is complemented by a blue dial with embossed hands and classic green lume for a vintage feel, a rotating elapsed time bezel, and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal window.
